Dormitories for the orphanage
2006: The Embassy of the United States of America in Benin finances a building with three dormitories for our orphanage.
The construction work begins.
2006-2007: The dollar looses its value and prices in Benin rise very rapidly. The construction stops in early 2007 due to the lack of means.
2008: We receive a donation to finish the dormitories from a friend in Ohio. The construction is finished.
July 24, 2008: The building is inaugurated in the presence of the American Ambassador and local authorities.

[Translate to English:] Die Deutsche Botschaft hat den Bau von zwei "Paillottes" (Rundhütten) für die Vorschule finanziert.
Die zwei Rundbauten sind inzwischen fertiggestellt, der Abschlussbericht muss noch bei der Botschaft eingereicht werden.
Die zwei Rundhütten werden als Klassenräume für unsere Vorchule dienen.
