for which we ask your financial help!
We desperately need more dorm space in order to give our kids appropriate living conditions as well as have the ability to help more kids. this is estimated around $45,000.
At this time, he orphanage Yédidja in Sakété is lodging 29 children and young people who are mostly orphans and from a difficult living situation. They are fed, receive all they need for their daily life and their school education in a public school. The Yedidja children grow up in a Christian environment, they attend a church in the community.
However, many more children are still waiting to be taken in or to be taken care off in their family. By sponsoring a child with a monthy contribution of €50, $65 or £40, a child can receive all he or she needs to go to school, receive clothes and eat decently. You can give a child a new perspective by signing in for a sponsorship.

The purpose of this project is to create a source of revenu for the orphanage. Alongside this purpose, the objectives are to improve the children's nutrition and to train the local population, in raising fish. We have already received funds to build the facilities, and we still need approximately 500 Euro or $750 (for the technician's salary for instance) before the project will generate funds. Find more information
here if you want to make a donation toward this project.
In addition to the co-workers we have already hired, we need new staff for our orphanage, the administration and public relations. At this point, too few co-workers have to do too much work.
We need new personnel in the domains of social assistance, book keeping, administration and psychology.
With your donation, you can help us recruit new co-workers and pay monthly salaries for our staff.
Here is a list of monthly salaries:
Cook: €40
Administrator: €200
Book keeper: €200
Social worker: €180
Project manager: €300
We are grateful for volunteers who are the parents for the Yedidja children and who receive their support from friends and churches in the USA!
Augustin lost both his parents. He lived sometimes with his uncle, sometimes with his older brother until he came to the orphanage. He has to work very hard in the fields. He stopped going to school. When he came to Yedidja, he started school again. Now, at age 17, he is in 8th grade and doing great. He is very intelligent and everybody likes "Fofo Augustin" (big brother Augustin).
